Stewart Cotterill is a sport and performance psychologist with 15 years’ experience as a researcher, lecturer, and consultant.
Stewart completed his undergraduate degree at Loughborough University before completing his MSc in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Chichester. He then gained his PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Edinburgh in 2007 and has since built a reputation for research in applied sport and performance psychology.
He has worked at amateur and professional levels in a number of sports including cricket, football, rugby union, golf, tennis as well as track and field athletics. His clients have included the England and Wales Cricket Board, Somerset County Cricket Club, the Sky Sports Golf Academy, Gloucester and Bristol Rugby Clubs, England Athletics, Bristol City FC and in addition national and international athletes in a wide range of sports. His current research focuses on how psychological theory and techniques can be applied to enhance performance in sport, education, and business.View all coaches
