First – find the course you are interested in
Either by going to the Home page and scrolling down through the 2020 Programme, or by going to the Courses page (by clicking ‘Courses’ on the menu line). On both of the Home and Courses pages you will find a green button ‘Details / Enrol’ by each course; clicking on this button will take to the Enrolment page for that course – and this page gives you full details of the course, and has the Course Enrolment form you use to enrol on the course.
Please note: if you wish to book for 1-to-1 coaching or any of the on demand courses (Gold, Start Peeling & Short Croquet), then please contact Maureen Smith or Roger Mills to agree the date, time and and price before booking. Thank you.
Second – fill out the Course Enrolment form & select the appropriate price option
Enter your details here, name, address, email, contact phone number, your croquet club and your GC and AC handicaps. Then, from the dropdown list, indicate if you are a Premier member (which means you have paid to enter CA tournaments).
Finally, from the dropdown list of price options, select the correct course price. For most of our courses there is a discounted price if you are a Premium CA member, or a member of a club that is part of the South West Federation of Croquet Clubs, or a member of Budleigh Salterton Croquet Club. But, if none of these apply to you, then you should select the ‘Usual Rate’ option.
Third – complete the booking and your payment
With all the information entered on the Course Enrolment form, click the ‘Add to Basket’ button. On the pop-up screen displayed next, check the details and then either click ‘Continue Shopping’ if you wish to book another course (this will take you back to the Home Page) or click ‘Checkout’ which takes you to the Checkout page. Here you will need to enter your Billing Details, and select whether you wish to pay using PayPal (or Debit/Credit card) or by cheque.
Paying by PayPal
If you have a PayPal account, then on the Checkout page all you need do is tick the box alongside ‘I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions’, and then click ‘Proceed to PayPal’. You should then continue to complete your PayPal payment in the normal way, and after a few seconds be returned to the SWCA Order Received screen. That’s it! You will shortly receive 2 emails: one from PayPal confirming payment, and a second email from the SWCA confirming your order.
Paying by Debit/Credit Card
If you do not have a PayPal account and wish to pay using a Debit or Credit Card, then on the Checkout page tick the box alongside ‘I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions’, and then click ‘Proceed to PayPal’. The next screen you see is headed ‘Login to PayPal’ – and towards the bottom of the screen there is a wide shaded button ‘Pay by Debit/Credit Card’ – click on this button, and then proceed to enter your card details on the next screen and conclude your payment. After a few seconds you will be returned to the SWCA Order Received screen. That’s it! You will shortly receive 2 emails: one from PayPal confirming payment, and a second email from the SWCA confirming your order.
Paying by Cheque
If you wish to pay by cheque then on the Checkout page, first click on the radio button alongside ‘Cheque Payment’. You will then see that the cheque should be made payable to Budleigh Salterton Croquet Club Ltd, and the address for posting the cheque. Next, tick the box alongside ‘I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions’, and then click ‘Place Order’. The following Order Received screen confirms your order has been placed., and apart from writing and posting your cheque, that’s it! You will shortly receive an email from the SWCA confirming that your place on the course has been reserved, and that it will be confirmed as soon as you cheque is received and cleared.
